Based in East London on the boarders of Essex and close to Epping Forest, the idea for our vintage china hire company began in the Spring of 2010 when we set about organising a Vintage Fair in our local church hall for charity.

The Helen Rollason Cancer Charity were asking people to organise tea parties to raise much needed funds, and so we gathered together our collections of vintage china, set about baking our favorite recipe's, laid the tables with vintage tablecloths and fresh flowers and opened the doors!

After a truly successful day in which we had lots of lovely comments and even sold out of cake, Vintage Plates and Cup Cakes was born.
